Research and Development (R&D) constitutes a fundamental pillar for University Metropolitan Tirana. It enables the creation of new knowledge, the development of innovative technologies, and the strengthening of connections with industry and socio-economic stakeholders. Through R&D, students are educated in direct contact with real-world challenges and the latest scientific developments, which enhances their capacity for innovation and increases their employment opportunities. Scientific research also contributes to enhancing the institution’s national and international reputation, while simultaneously fostering the creation of partnerships, collaborative projects, and the acquisition of competitive funding.
