The Cooperation Agreement between the University Metropolitan Tirana and the Italian company DBA PRO is signed with the objective of offering internships for master and bachelor students, organizing workshops for UMT students, as well as training by UMT staff for DBA PRO company employees.
University Metropolitan Tirana, with a focus on construction engineering and architecture, computer engineering and artificial intelligence, welcomed the representatives of the DBA PRO company, Giuseppe De Marchi, COO of Information and Communication Technology and Mirsida Mera, responsible of DBA PRO for Albania. The company specializes in the development of software platforms and the provision of Architecture and Engineering, Project and Asset Management services.
In the meeting held, representatives of DBA PRO expressed the desire and willingness to offer internships and jobs to the students of the Faculty of Computer Science and IT as well as the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.
UMT students are currently doing internships during their studies in international companies such as IRIS Software Group, Httpool, etc. and soon in the Italian company DBA PRO. Their success as interns but also as employees, under the title of UMT Alumni, has attracted the attention of foreign companies, which increasingly seek to recruit them.
