The Bachelor in Finance study program is built on the daily needs of the labor market in the areas of banking system, insurance and financial institutions. At the Metropolitan Tirana University, the finance program is divided into two profiles, namely Finance-Banking and Finance-Accounting. Students who want to focus on the broad activity of the company’s assets and liabilities by planning future economic growth as well as who are interested in exercising a broader control over the company’s strategy may choose to profile themselves in finance.

On the other hand, students who wish to focus on the daily cash flows in the institution, in the account books and in the relevant legislation, may choose to be profiled in accounting. Students graduating in Finance-Banking and Finance-Accounting can be employed in the private and public sector, specifically in positions near commercial banks of the second level as financial analysts, analysts in project financing, capital analysts, debt analysts, analysts of corporate finance and portfolio and private capital manager, in the sectors of internal control and audit, accounting and banking and financial reporting, as responsible for the financial management of companies, etc. At MTU, students have the opportunity to prepare with contemporary textbooks, practice in computer labs with financial programs, and practice at partner companies with the university.
