Project Description
The RURALITeast project aims to establish Living Labs in Eastern European Countries to support youth workers and potential entrepreneurs in rural areas. Through these Labs, the project seeks to enhance skills in sustainable entrepreneurship and digital literacy, preserving local values and unique products while aligning with EU Green Deal objectives. The initiative includes tailored training, workshops, and mentorship sessions, engaging diverse stakeholders such as public entities, businesses, universities, and youth organizations. By involving local authorities and fostering youth participation, the project aims to drive positive change, uphold rural traditions, and promote sustainable practices.
Mission and Goals:
The project’s mission is to empower and upskill young workers, entrepreneurs, and NEETs in rural areas through Living Labs, aiming to foster sustainable business models and territorial development. Its vision is to revitalize rural communities by leveraging the potential of young people, addressing challenges such as ageing populations, economic restructuring, and promoting sustainability, innovation, and cultural heritage.
