The
Energy Audit Course offers the opportunity for engineers and architects to
obtain a certificate for the audit and measurement of Energy Performance in
buildings, transport or industry, receiving the title "Energy
Auditor". The course provides methodological bases for conducting relevant
audits based on legislation and contemporary standards for energy performance
of buildings. This course is focused on the basics of energy auditing, and
participants can specialize in energy auditing in buildings, energy auditing in
energy processes, or energy auditing in transportation. Didactic director of
this course is Dr. Klaus Volstead, founder and CEO of several companies in
Norway and beyond, which operate in the energy efficiency sector. Klaus Volstead
holds the title of Doctor of Science and is part of the academic staff at the
"Norwegian University of Science and Technology" and at the same time
part of the academic staff at the "Metropolitan Tirana University” since
2017. The Energy Audit course can be attended by bachelor's degree graduates in
Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering,
Environmental Engineering, Urban Planning and Architecture. The course lasts
for 7 weeks, while the lectures take place on Thursday and Friday at 16: 00-20:
00 and on Saturday at 09: 00-13: 00.
