University Metropolitan Tirana Launches a Training Program for Teachers on Artificial Intelligence
Theme: Artificial Intelligence in Education – From Challenges to Opportunities
The rapid spread of artificial intelligence and its widespread use across many industries is making familiarity with it increasingly necessary. In response to this need for education and the adoption of more productive methods of using AI, University Metropolitan Tirana (UMT) is launching a cycle of professional training programs for high school teachers, focusing on the ethical, pedagogical, and practical use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the teaching process. The extensive experience of UMT’s academic staff in the field of Artificial Intelligence, which is integrated throughout the full cycle of studies from bachelor’s to doctoral level, serves as a guarantee of the effectiveness of this training. This specialized program aims to empower teachers by equipping them with knowledge and tools that make teaching more creative and effective.
AI as a Pedagogical Partner
AI does not replace the teacher – it empowers them!
UMT’s training programs aim to encourage teachers to use AI as an ally in the educational process, offering support for the creation of learning content, the personalization of learning, and the enhancement of student engagement.
What Do Teachers Gain?
Through this cycle of training programs, teachers will be able to:
- Design more personalized lesson plans
- Create interactive tests and quizzes
- Personalize learning for each student
- Increase creativity and engagement in the classroom
Three Core Pillars of the Training Program
The UMT training program is based on three pillars: Pedagogy – Ethics – Technology, positioning the teacher as the primary leader of the educational process and AI as a modern ally.
University Metropolitan Tirana invites all high school teachers to be part of this transformative process by taking advantage of the opportunities that AI brings to education.
