For the third consecutive year, University Metropolitan Tirana becomes the destination for the semester-long academic training of students from ESIEE Paris, one of France’s most prestigious Grandes Écoles, where leading figures of French industry have studied, such as Marcel Dassault, pioneer of aeronautics, and Yann LeCun, one of the world’s most distinguished researchers in Artificial Intelligence and recipient of the 2018 Turing Award.
The continuity and quality of this collaboration are rooted in UMT’s high academic standards, modern infrastructure, vibrant student life organized around clubs and activities, and the warm hospitality and dedication of its academic staff and local students. The French students have fully integrated into the academic and social life at UMT, becoming active members of the international university community.
During this semester, ESIEE Paris students will follow a special program at the Faculty of Computer Science and IT, consisting of courses shared with UMT bachelor students. This program combines academic training with practical experiences, as well as exposure to the Albanian language and culture, thus fully meeting ESIEE Paris’s objectives of providing its students with a comprehensive and international education.
This partnership once again confirms UMT’s role as an institution that offers not only academic excellence but also a unique international experience for students who choose Tirana as a destination for their professional and cultural development.
