University Metropolitan Tirana has launched the third edition of the innovative youth competition “RoboTech,” an initiative aimed at developing students’ technological skills and creativity, encouraging them to find practical and sustainable solutions to future challenges.
This year, the number of applications saw a significant increase compared to previous years, exceeding 500 submissions.
The 25 selected teams from 9 cities across Albania are now ready to begin the mentoring phase and prototype development.
RoboTech offers a rich hands-on experience for students, exposing them to the latest technologies in the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence. Through seminars, presentations, practical activities, and group projects, participants will learn to apply theoretical knowledge to solving real-world challenges, work collaboratively, and develop skills in planning, project management, and creative problem-solving. Selected mentors from University Metropolitan Tirana play a crucial role in supporting participants’ progress, providing direct guidance and professional mentorship to help students transform their ideas into concrete projects.
Participants benefit in various ways by developing technological skills such as data analysis and the use of intelligent robotic systems, as well as other equally important abilities, such as presenting and clearly communicating complex ideas. In addition, RoboTech offers networking opportunities and connections with mentors, industry experts, and students from University Metropolitan Tirana, giving participants the space to better understand the potential of the technology field and future opportunities.
At the same time, the aim of this competition is to encourage innovative solutions to challenges related to the green and blue economy, while also promoting the achievements of students at the national level.
With the support of COD Prime Minister’s Office, Startup Albania, and the National Youth Agency, RoboTech III promises to inspire a new generation of innovators, helping them develop their full potential and contribute to the technological development of Albania.
