Bachelor Programs
- Higher Secondary School Diploma – if the applicant has completed their studies.
- Transcript of Higher Secondary School Studies – if the applicant is still studying, they must submit the transcript for grades 10 and 11.
- National Examination – if applicable in the applicant’s home country (general examination after completing higher secondary school studies).
- English Proficiency Certificate – demonstrating a B1 level in one of the following exams: Cambridge, TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, or APTIS. If the applicant does not have the certificate at the time of application, it must be submitted before receiving the admission letter.
- Passport – a copy of a valid passport.
Master Programs
- University/College Diploma – if the applicant has completed their studies.
- Transcript of University/College Studies – if the applicant is still studying, they must submit the transcript from the first year of their bachelor’s program up to the present.
- English Proficiency Certificate – demonstrating a B1 level in one of the following exams: Cambridge, TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, or APTIS. If the applicant does not have the certificate at the time of application, it must be submitted before receiving the admission letter.
Exemption: If the bachelor’s program was conducted entirely in English, the applicant is exempt from providing an English proficiency certificate. In this case, please provide an official document from your university confirming that your
- Complete the Online Application: Submit the application form along with all required supporting documents.
- Application Evaluation: Your submission will be carefully reviewed by the Admissions Committee.
- Interview Invitation: Once your application is verified, you may be invited for an interview (if applicable).
- Preconditional Acceptance: Upon successful evaluation, you will receive a Preconditional Acceptance Letter from UMT.
- Prepayment: Make the required prepayment to secure your place in the program.
- Document Legalization: If your documents are not yet apostilled or legalized, initiate the legalization process with the relevant authorities.
- Student Visa Application: Apply for a student visa (D-Type) through the official e-Visa portal.
- Arrival in Albania: Travel to Albania with all original documents.
- Translation and Notarization: Translate your documents into Albanian and have them notarized locally.
- Diploma Recognition: Submit your diplomas and transcripts to the Ministry of Education and Sport (QSHA) for official recognition.
- Residence Permit Application: Apply for your residence permit at the relevant Albanian authorities.
- Final Registration at UMT: Complete your enrollment and officially join the University Metropolitan Tirana.
