Prof. Assoc. Dr. Anna Yunitsyna is a lecturer and researcher with 14 years of experience in teaching courses at the university and postgraduate levels. She has supervised 30 Scientific Master theses. She has also edited and co-authored two books on current challenges in Albanian architecture titled “Current Challenges in Architecture and Urbanism in Albania” and “COVID-19 (Forced) Innovations” published in Springer. She has published over 15 articles in indexed journals and has developed over 29 presentations at scientific conferences. Prof. Assoc. Dr. Anna Yunitsyna is co-chair and member of the editorial board (co-chair) in two international scientific conferences, and member of the scientific board in 5 international scientific conferences, and reviewer of the scientific magazine “Civil Engineering and Architecture”
Research areas:
- Housing theory, housing design, housing evaluation, energy efficient housing, sustainable housing environment
- Space Syntax Analysis from the urban scale to the building scale
- Digital fabrication, parametric modeling, algorithmic modeling, 3D printing, computer-aided design
- 2024 – Received the Assoc. Prof. Dr. title at Polytechnic University of Tirana
- 2014 – PhD at Czech Technical University in Prague. The research topic is “Flexible housing – Universal space in dwelling”
- 2010 – Master in Architecture program (in English) in Dessau Institute of Architecture, Germany
- 2007 – State Technical University in Vologda, 6-year diploma of Architect with honors
