Ms. Diana Bardhi has over 32 years of professional experience in the field of Civil Engineering. She has been actively involved in teaching at Metropolitan University of Tirana since 2012 to the present. Her professional experience includes structural design (villas, collective residential buildings, and socio-cultural facilities), construction supervision, and project management in accordance with international standards for planning and implementation of residential and commercial engineering works (Municipality of Durrës). She has also served as a Project Manager for engineering projects with CRS–UN during the Kosovo crisis, and has been involved in the implementation and monitoring of FIDIC contracts for road infrastructure works, including the management of foreign-funded projects at ADF–FSHZH under the World Bank–financed Rural and Regional Roads Reconstruction Project. In July 2007, Ms. Bardhi served as Head of Urban Planning in the Durrës Regional Authority. From February 2008 to April 2015, she worked as a Project Manager at the Albanian Development Fund (ADF) and subsequently as a Technical Auditor for the same institution. She is a certified valuer of real and movable property, having carried out valuation assignments for major institutions such as UNESCO, the World Bank, and second-tier banking institutions (loan portfolio valuations). She has also acted as a Urban Planning Coordinator for several General Regulatory Plans, including those of Gjirokastër, Poliçan, Pukë, Mirditë, Pustec, Devoll, Dimal, and others. Her academic and research activity includes scientific studies in the fields of construction engineering, road infrastructure, asset management and valuation, as well as design legislation, FIDIC contract management, and property valuation frameworks in Albania. Ms. Bardhi has been the Coordinator of the Postgraduate Course in Property Valuation and Investment at Metropolitan University of Tirana since its establishment. Since 2023 to the present, she has also served as a Trainer in Property Valuation for the Real Estate Intermediaries Licensing Course of the Ministry of Justice. Since 2007, she has been continuously engaged in higher education teaching, delivering courses such as Reinforced Concrete Structures, Construction Technology, Property Valuation, Construction Site Techniques, Engineering Project Management, and Road Engineering, at Aleksandër Moisiu University of Durrës, the Polytechnic University of Tirana, and Metropolitan University of Tirana. Additionally, she has worked as an expert for the drafting and validation of curricula and professional textbooks in the fields of construction and property valuation for the National Agency for Employment, Vocational Education, Training and Qualifications, during the period 2018–2025. Throughout her professional career, Ms. Diana Bardhi has been selected as:
- a Member of the Albanian Association of Engineers,
- a Member of Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO), Canada,
- a Board Member of the Albanian Association of Property Valuers, and
- an External Evaluation Expert for the Quality Assurance Agency in Higher Education (ASCAL)
