Albania has made history by joining the European Commission’s Digital Hubs Network. This landmark moment marks a significant step forward for the country, with University Metropolitan Tirana (UMT) playing a pivotal role as part of the first Albanian consortium to sign the ambitious “Digital Valley Albania” (DiVA) project. Strategic Partnership for a Digital Albania

University Metropolitan Tirana, along with strategic partners ALBICT, Digitsapiens, ABSL, CONSCIESG, and Cyber Morfosis, has initiated close collaboration on implementing this major four-year project. The consortium aims to support Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in leveraging digital transformation benefits. The primary focus will be on strategic sectors such as tourism and agriculture, two pillars of the Albanian economy.

The technical and financial support from EU4Innovation, GIZ Albania, and the Ministry of Infrastructure has been crucial in ensuring this project’s successful application and launch.
