Metroresearch, part of University Metropolitan Tirana (UMT), has successfully concluded the implementation of the RURALITeast project, part of the Erasmus+ Program. The project established
Living Labs in Eastern European countries to support young entrepreneurs and rural workers, promote sustainable entrepreneurship, digital literacy, and preserve local values, in line with the EU Green Deal objectives.
Final Meeting in Banja Luka
- The two-day final meeting in Banja Luka marked the successful conclusion of the project, bringing together all partners to share results, experiences, and future perspectives for Living Labs. Key activities during the meeting included:
- Student Lecture: Students from Banja Luka College attended a lecture on circular economy and youth entrepreneurship.
- Study Visits: Visits to local vineyards and monasteries provided insights into sustainable business models and rural development.
- Collaboration Agreement: A MoU for the Living Lab was signed, strengthening regional cooperation in rural tourism and circular economy practices.
Living Labs – A Legacy That Continues
Although the project successfully concludes, the Living Labs continue to offer opportunities for innovation, sustainable rural development, and active youth engagement. These labs serve as platforms to test new ideas, train young entrepreneurs, and preserve local traditions, contributing to sustainable economic and social development in rural areas.
