Enes Stastoli, a second-year Master’s student in Computer Engineering at UMT, is currently in France for an internship in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at the Institut Français du Pétrole – Energies Nouvelles (IFP-EN). This internship is funded by IFP-EN and the Erasmus+ Program under the inter-institutional agreement between UMT and Université Paris-Est Créteil.
The topics Enes is working on during his internship include:
Data analysis and visualization: Working with data collected from various sources in formats such as JSON or CSV (Comma-Separated Values).
- Working with Large Language Models (LLMs): Using models like GPT-4 and GPT-3.5 from OpenAI, as well as Huggingface, to design and generate requests through prompt engineering, enabling LLMs to automatically generate code and create data visualization panels.
- Using the LangChain framework: Integrating LLMs to link and process external data sources.
- Streamlit Library: Using this framework to build and share custom web-based data applications.
- Performance Evaluation: Assessing the performance of each LLM used in the process.
Internationalization is a key priority for the Metropolitan University of Tirana (UMT), which offers its students the opportunity to complete internships at leading European companies and/or research labs.
