Study Scholarships for Bachelor’s Programs
University Metropolitan Tirana values your talent and dedication! For all exceptional high school graduates, UMT offers both full and partial scholarships for the entire duration of the bachelor’s degree program. This is your chance to pursue your dreams and excel in an advanced academic environment. As a scientifically oriented university, University Metropolitan Tirana evaluates your high school GPA and your performance in Mathematics and Physics. Participation in extracurricular activities such as Olympiads and social engagement is also considered.

1. Excellence Scholarships
GPA: A minimum GPA of 9.0 is required.
Involvement in School Activities: Participation in research projects, academic competitions, or activities demonstrating commitment and dedication to science and education.
Other Academic Achievements: Evidence of outstanding performance in national exams.
2. Social Scholarships
Economic Hardship: Proof of low family income or eligibility for social assistance.
Social Challenges: This may include living in difficult conditions, having unemployed parents, being an orphan, or having special needs.
Required Documentation: Family income statement and documents verifying social status (e.g., social service reports, poverty certificates, etc.)..
3. Talent Scholarships
Achievements in Specific Fields: Proof of outstanding achievements in technology, culture, arts, sports, etc.
Participation in National or International Olympiads and Competitions: Documentation of participation and results in such competitions.
Recommendations from Mentors or Professionals: Evidence of exceptional skills and talent, supported by experts in the field.
4. Scholarships for Children of Teachers
Parent(s) as Teachers: At least one parent must be a teacher in the Albanian pre-university education system (public or private schools) or employed at University Metropolitan Tirana (UMT).
Verification of Parental Status: A certificate proving the parent’s status as a teacher or educator (e.g., employment certificate, employment contract, etc.).
Academic Requirement for Children of Teachers: A minimum high school GPA of 8 to ensure the student’s academic engagement.
Interested candidates can reserve their place in one of the study programs at UMT starting in December.
