The award for University Metropolitan Tirana was given during the conference organized by the University of Business and Technology in Prishtina, on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of Kosovo’s Independence.
The Rector of UBT – Higher Education Institution Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi presented the award to the President of UMT Eng. Arjan Çukaj and Administrator Donika Plakolli, appreciating the contribution and support given over the years in the academic preparation of young professionals.
At the conference, the mayor of Pristina, Përparim Ramaj, and guests from Diaspora and other contributors to the achievement of Kosovo’s independence, greeted with his speech, higher education and academic commitment throughout the Albanian-speaking area were evaluated as decisive in the achievement of Kosovo’s independence.
This is the second honor for UMT in a few weeks. On January 25, it was awarded the “Award of Excellence” by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tirana, evaluating the university’s achievements in the field of scientific research, international partnerships and focus on computer science and artificial intelligence.
