Residence Permit
For all international students who are planning to visit Universiteti Metropolitan Tirana will have to plan all the required paper work needed before flying to Tirana. Once you are successfully nominated by your home university, you should start to collect the documents that are necessary for the application process of residence permit Nominations from Home University must be submitted at: iro-projects@umt.edu.al

Accommodation
Universiteti Metropolitan Tirana is situated in the heart of “Qytet Studenti” Students City, in the capital of Albania, Tirana. At the “Students City” thousands of students who pursue their studies live at the public dormitories as services provided from the Municipality of Tirana. Nevertheless, accommodation can be sought also from independent actors such as real estate agencies. The International Office will assist you with general information on accommodation before your arrival.
Insurance
When visiting a foreign country, it is important to be prepared and suitably covered in case you need medical assistance. The International Relations Office of Universiteti Metropolitan Tirana will assist you with general information on health insurance before your arrival.
