The study program in Economic Informatics in English is designed to provide students with knowledge in computer technologies used in the academic and business fields, and to familiarise them with the possibilities of applying these technologies in the process of doing business as well as in the field of services, communication, analysis, as well as in that of data management and processing. During this study cycle, students are equipped with basic knowledge in the field of information technology to enable them to perform analyses of business information requirements, structuring information in databases and creating different types of applications such as web applications, standalone applications and so on.
All these knowledge and skills prepare students to be competitive in the labour market, locally and beyond, working in various profiles of information technology. In order to increase the competitive capacities of students in the labour market, the curriculum of the study program, in addition to knowledge in the field of information technology, also includes abundant knowledge in the field of economics.
