Civil Engineering

The bachelor’s program in Civil Engineering prepares students to design, implement, and control civil, industrial, and large public works. Lecturers in this study program are among the best local and foreign experts, with a long experience in the field of civil engineering. This study program includes the most innovative teaching instruments, based on the collaborations that the Metropolitan Tirana University has made over the years with some of the best universities in Europe. On the other hand, laboratories provide all the equipment and conditions needed to put theoretical knowledge into practice. Students have the opportunity to make visits and develop teaching practices in many of the construction sites and construction companies in the country. Students graduating in Civil Engineering at UMT can immediately integrate into the job market, as the study program gives them the appropriate competencies on technical calculations, construction technology and methodology, maintenance, recovery and any necessary technical or administrative aspects required for have a successful professional career.
