The Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering study program has clearly defined objectives for the professional and scientific training of students, enabling them to apply the knowledge gained in the curriculum disciplines, initiating the desire to be involved in the logic of the profession and encouraging the passion to deepening the knowledge in the future with other cycles of studies, understanding the importance of scientific examination and increasing the responsibility in evaluating the results of technical-laboratory analyses, recognizing the requirements in the labor market, and making them aware of the importance and usefulness of their contribution to the production process.

Based on the basic concepts in the course syllabuses, this study program aims to provide students with knowledge, skills and professional competences that characterize their profile. Specifically, this study program aims to:

• To create, transmit, develop knowledge in the field of civil engineering through teaching, scientific research and practices;

• To equip future construction experts with concepts and skills to create research, study and discovery methods and mechanisms in this field;
• To equip students with the way of identifying and formulating problems as well as their solution, using the methods, techniques and methodological-operational tools of the engineering level, in relation to certain fields of construction related to the problems, deepening their knowledge;
• To possess the necessary knowledge for the theoretical, methodological and technical bases for the evaluation of various engineering aspects;
• To possess the necessary knowledge and skills for interaction with other factors in different work contexts.
