The Scientific Master’s Study Program in Architecture is designed to equip students with in-depth contemporary scientific knowledge that enables their evidence in the field of architecture.
The Scientific Master Study Program in Architecture is offered in profiles; Architect, Architect-Restorer, Architect-Engineer, Bio-Architect and Architect-Interior.
During the five years of study, referring to the relevant profiles, students will explore a wide range of subjects, including; Basics of architectural drawing, Architectural design of buildings with different sizes and functions, Urban design, Theory and history of architecture, Constructive Design, Architectural Restoration, Materials Technology, Interior Architecture, Environmental Design, Theory and history of architecture, Revit and CAD software programs, 3D MAX and Parametric Architecture
During the study period, students get to know and practice using modern computer programs such as Autocad 2D and 3D, Photoshop, 3D Studio Max, Revit, etc. The learning practices that take place near design studios and construction companies create the opportunity for students to become skilled and apply in practice in a creative way the knowledge and theoretical concepts acquired.
At the end of this study program, students will be able to successfully apply the basic theoretical and practical knowledge acquired in the Architectural design process. This knowledge will also develop in them the ability to search, analyze and evaluate critically.
If you are passionate about Architecture, join us in this exciting and challenging journey to become successful in this field.
The objective of the Master of Science in Architecture study program is to provide students with basic and contemporary scientific knowledge in the field of architecture, as well as to enable them to acquire in-depth professional knowledge in specific related disciplines such as: engineering, urbanism, bio-architecture, interior design, restoration of cultural and historical heritage buildings, etc.
The focus of the program is the coordination of the contemporary architectural solution with constructive systems, technology and construction materials as well as the application of techniques and tools offered by contemporary software such as; Autocad 2D and 3D, Photoshop, 3D Studio Max, Revit, etc.
Students in this program are introduced to the management of the construction process starting from the design of the project, the formulation of the documentation, the ethics of the implementation of the legal framework, the problems of the site and safety, as well as all phases of the work until the delivery of the object. The latter will be made possible through the combination of the theoretical program with the practical one, developed throughout the study cycle through work on the construction site and in the design studio.
At the end of this program, the student should enjoy the following professional characteristics:
The Scientific Master’s Study Program in Architecture is designed to offer students a quality theoretical and practical education, having as a reference the contemporary requirements of the construction industry and the architectural design process. This program is formulated to meet market needs and equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career in the field of architectural design. because:
The current situation of construction development in the country; contemporary trends for a combination of construction technologies and models with function and aesthetic treatment of structures; the necessity for the preservation, re-evaluation and restoration of historical construction and architectural values inherited throughout the country; the ever-increasing demands for contemporary aesthetic and compositional treatment of residential interiors, social and cultural environments, commercial and service environments; the increasing use of sustainable materials and renewable energy sources; etc. evidence a growing demand for architectural experts profiled in the fields related to these developments.
